Welcome to Boma Learning Centre
Boma Learning Centre was established in March 2019 in response to a growing need for high-quality Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) services in our region.

The word “Boma” comes from Swahili, meaning “home,” which reflects our commitment to creating a welcoming, family-centered environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
We believe that learning should be fun and meaningful. When children are engaged and enjoying themselves, the skills they develop are more likely to last and carry over into daily life.
At Boma, we work collaboratively with public and private schools, daycares, and other professionals such as school teams, extra curricular support systems, Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) to ensure continuity of care. We teach skills where they matter most—whether that’s in the clinic, at home, at school, or out in the community.
We also understand that all behaviour has a purpose. Instead of simply trying to eliminate challenging behaviours, we teach children more appropriate and effective ways to communicate their needs. Our approach emphasizes scientifically sound approaches, respect, and empathy. Every child’s dignity, autonomy, and emotional well-being are at the heart of what we do.
Our Mission
To provide warm and effective applied behaviour analytic services to children and families.
Our Vision
To provide consistent and sustainable services for long-term family success.
Our Values
We value kindness and compassion, open and honest communication, and transparency in our policies and procedures. We value learning in the natural environment, and through play whenever possible.
"Education begins the moment we see children as innately wise and capable beings. Only then can we play along in their world."
